RAJEEVIKA operates as an autonomous body within the Government of Rajasthan, specifically under the Department of Rural Development. Established as a registered society in October 2010, in accordance with the Rajasthan Societies Act of 1958, it is chaired by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan. The organization is tasked with implementing various livelihood-related programs aimed at enhancing the economic well-being of rural communities in Rajasthan.

Functioning as an umbrella initiative, RAJEEVIKA encompasses multiple schemes designed to facilitate employment opportunities for individuals residing in rural settings. A noteworthy aspect of its implementation involves the use of an application by community cadres, which aids in the generation and tracking of monthly payment disbursements.
